John Cratchley Inspired by the film of the same name, this is a work of equal stature, to my mind...
Aram is the guitarist who's name seems to be on everyone's lips at the moment...and quite rightly; but he is turning into a very significant composer too, as this work demonstrates.
In time to come, I hope this will be considered as a masterwork; quietly ecstatic, with exquisite tone and reverently mournful in places too...not to mention outright beautiful.
Listen carefully and reflect; this is music about our time, what we are and, maybe, what we are coming to.
